Technology Programs
The Department of Technology offers a wide variety of programs at both the certificate and associate of applied science levels. Programs include: Advanced Engine Technology, Computer Drafting Technology, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology, Industrial Mechanics, Instrumentation Technology, Process Operating Technology, Restaurant/Institutional Food Management, Utility Line Technology, and Welding Technology. Each technology program is designed to prepare students for jobs in high demand areas with “real world” training. Technology students get a true hands-on experience in the classroom. 91°µÍø also requires students to register for the College Success Skills Course in their first semester. The course is designed to provide students with a thorough orientation to the campus, postsecondary education, and the classroom skills necessary for success. Students are also required to complete the WorkKeys™ test when they are enrolled in a capstone course.
