PSC is an accreditor focused on innovative institutions of higher education that produce strong economic outcomes for their students. It is currently seeking recognition from the US Department of Education.

LIT began seeking Initial Accreditation from PSC in early 2026, and the process will take approximately one year to complete.

“PSC is dedicated to accrediting innovative institutions that deliver strong economic outcomes for their students,” PSC Founder and President Stig Leschly said. “We are excited that LIT is pursuing Initial Accreditation with PSC, and grateful to President Valentine for his interest in delivering strong wage outcomes for students.”

PSC’s accreditation model emphasizes accountability for student outcomes, including the economic returns an institution generates for its students.

“LIT is an important institution in the Texas workforce and higher education ecosystem,” said Jen Dirmeyer, PSC’s Vice President of Accreditation. “We look forward to working with them through the accreditation process, particularly given their focus on delivering strong economic value for students.
